18While he was saying these things to them, a ruler came, worshiped him, and said, "My daughter has just now died; but come, place your hand on her, and she will live."19Jesus got up and followed him, with his disciples.20And a woman who had been hemorrhaging blood for twelve years came up from behind and touched the tassel of his garment.21For she was saying to herself, "If only I touch his garment, I will be saved."22But Jesus turned and saw her. He said, "Take courage, daughter; your faith has saved you." And the woman was saved from that hour.23And when Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the tumultuous crowd,24he said, "Go away, for the girl has not died but is sleeping." And they ridiculed him.25But when the crowd had been put out, he went in, took her by the hand, and the girl arose.26And this report went out into all that land.
